We fired up Ubuntu 12.04 and opened a stock image from our Pictures library. We performed a range of operations on it, including cutting and pasting, drawing and shading, color changes, and merging layers. We could save our image as a JPEG, PNG, Bitmap, Ubuntu 12.04 document, and Ubuntu 12.04 document (PSD). The ability to open and save PSD Ubuntu 12.04 adds significantly to FireAlpaca's capabilities. FireAlpaca's tools work well, and we like the Brush Control, Color Picker, and other tools displayed in the tools menu to the left of the main view, though some of our favorites seem to be missing, such as the smudge tool. But the pen, Ubuntu 12.04, airbrush, Ubuntu 12.04, selection, Magic Wand, eyedropper, hand, bucket, and other tools had familiar controls and functions. Ubuntu 12.04 worked well with our Wacom tablet, too.

Ubuntu 12.04 gives users fine-tuning control to change the Snap/Shake/Glass functionality, customize the Aqua features, toggle at will Ubuntu 12.04 Aero and Aqua, or disable them. Where Aero Ubuntu 12.04 makes windows resize as maximized or to half the width of the monitor, Ubuntu 12.04 adds in quarter-screen sizes. There's also a custom option, and it's multimonitor compatible. For some odd reason, the Ubuntu 12.04 features required a reboot before they worked, when the Shake and Peek ones didn't.
